Peanut Butter & Quick Cinnamon Spiced Apple Toast

  • Chopping Board
  • Sharp Knife
  • Saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Whole Eating Apple
  • 4 Tbsp Peanut Butter (crunchy)
  • 2 Slices Wholegrain/Seeded Bread
  • Half Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp Water
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • Pinch Salt
  • Handful Chopped Pecans

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, slice your apples thinly with the skin on
  • Add water, maple syrup, cinnamon and salt to your saucepan on medium heat
  • When you maple mix is warmed up, add your apples
  • Allow your apples to simmer for 5-10 minutes (I like mine with a little crunch)
  • Roughly chop the nuts
  • When your apples are nearly done, pop your toast into the toaster
  • When bread is done, smother on some peanut butter
  • Top with your cooked apples, drizzle with any remaining sauce
  • Sprinkle on your nuts!
