Quick, easy and delicious… our strawberry oat breakfast smoothie – with no banana! Prepare this nutritious breakfast in no time at all, take it on the go ahead of a big day at the office.
The mixture of oats and yogurt here really do make this taste like breakfast in a cup!
It is officially strawberry season and I don’t know about you but I’m going to make the most of it.
One of my favourite fruits and certainly my favourite berry = strawberries. We use frozen strawberries here to help with texture and temperature, but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy them fresh and then freeze them at home. Full of flavour and vitamin C, you’ll be drinking this one all Summer long.
How to make this strawberry oat breakfast smoothie:
Let’s start with what you’ll need:
- 200g frozen strawberries
- 50g oats (rolled/quick oats)
- 100g greek yogurt
- 250ml oat milk (or your preferred milk option)
- 1tbsp honey or maple syrup
- Dash of cinnamon
How to make it:
Perhaps the simplest instructions i’ve written on this blog to date – just weigh everything out, or eye-ball it if that’s how you roll, toss it all into a high speed blender and blend until smooth! Voila, a delicious quick and easy smoothie ready to go.
