Simple Roasted Carrots with Garlic & Thyme
Equipment
- Baking Tray / Dish
- Tin Foil
Ingredients
- 400g Carrots
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Handful Fresh Thyme 5 or 6 stems
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Water
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 200C
- Peel all of your carrots, removing the stem at the top
- Place carrots on baking dish
- Drizzle olive oil & sprinkle on garlic powder, salt & pepper
- Give your tray a good shake to coat the carrots
- Add in your fresh thyme
- Pour in water at the side of the tray, so it sits beneath the carrots but doesn't wash the delicious coating off
- Cover the tray with tin foil and pop in the oven
- After 25 minutes, remove tin foil from the tray, give the carrots another shake to turn and place back in the oven
- Allow to cook uncovered for a further 25 minutes, until starting to caramelise
